At approximately 7:45AM MDT (13:45 GMT) Hund.io began to receive high levels of traffic. Our infrastructure absorbed this traffic as it declined over the hour.

Later, at 9AM MDT (15:00 GMT), again we received an abnormal amount of traffic resulting in our live event streams being saturated. Normal status page requests and notifications were not affected.

Because internal alarms immediately caught these events, additional capacity was added during the second traffic load as services were gradually restored.

Steps have been taken to prevent live event streams from being saturated in the future.
